Roaring Fork Series Photos from Dec. 20, 2008

Welcome to the AVSC Age Class Alpine Blog! We're starting off the season with some great pics from Kir Newhard from the Roaring Fork Series on December 20th! According to AVSC Past President Doug Throm, the Roaring Fork Series began during the 70's as the "Aspen Cup" - a series of races that local kids could compete in without having to travel. The Town Race series advertises how it is the longest running town race series in the country, but the Roaring Fork Series might actually give it a run for that record. Enjoy!
